- Since the last meeting was held before the end of the season Larry congratulated Russ and Chris Rensing for their victory at the Fall Table Rock Lake Event. Also, Mike Anderson was recognized as the Angler of the year for 2016 weighing 54 fish for a total of 113.52 Lbs.
- The membership dues are being collected now, the dues are $65 each and each member will get raffle tickets to sell to offset their cost of participation. The dues will be collected at the Winter meetings, the Let’s Go Fishing show and at the banquet.. The Raffle Tickets will be available until the banquet. After the banquet you will just pay your dues with no exchange of raffle tickets.
- The Let’s Go Fishing Show will be held Jan 6-8 at the Gateway Center in Collinsville. The booth location is the same as the last few years. We need people to help set up the booth on Friday Jan 6th as well as people to come by and work at the booth. If you are at the show please come by and help at the booth for a little while. Saturday night after the Let’s Go Fishing show we will have our annual dinner at Zapatas. We have reserved a space and you are responsible for your own drinks and food purchases.
- Leisure Time Sports has been a big supporter of the Steel City Bassmasters and provided everyone in 6th to 16th place at the Fall Table Rock tournament with an attendance prize. If you are in need of some fishing or hunting supplies please give Leisure Time Outdoors some consideration for your business.
- We are having Steel City day at Leisure Time Outdoors on January 14th at the Mike McCelland seminar so please plan to attend and support them. .
- Elections for Officers took place:

- Ed Montgomery – Sec/Treasurer/Webmaseter – Unopposed
- Elections for the 7 board positions took place.

- The annual Awards Banquet will be held on January 21, 2017 at the Knights of Columbus in Collinsville starting at 6pm.
- At the banquet we will be drawing the Bass Club Raffle
- there will be a 50/50 drawing
- The first tournament of the 2017 Season is March 18th at Lake of Egypt.
- The board will be posting flyers as the permits become available.
- It was motioned the Jack Watkins will receive a waiver for the 2017 dues.
- Next Meeting is January 15th.
